On April 9, 2026, the 25th DASt Colloquium took place in Berlin, hosted by the Technical University of Berlin. At this event, early-career researchers from the fields of steel, metal, and composite structures had the opportunity to present their current research to a broad audience of experts. The Institute for Steel Construction at Leibniz University Hannover was represented with two exciting presentations. Jakob Borgelt presented his research on the topic "Degradation behavior of cyclically axially loaded grout joints under realistic operating conditions." Tim Brömer presented his paper “Local fatigue analysis for welded X-joints considering 3D scans.”
