The Institute of Steel Construction participated in the 33rd International Conference ISOPE 2023 (Ocean and Polar Engineering) with several presentations. The conference took place from 19 to 23 June in Ottawa (Canada). At the event, Mr Christopher Schierl ("Yield-point Controlled Tightening of Bolted Ring Flange Connections"), Ms Manuela Böhm ("Soil Modeling for Buckling Analyses of Suction Bucket Installation in Sand") and Mr Christian Dänekas ("Deep Rolling and Geometry Evaluation of Butt Welds") represented the Institute of Steel Construction.
