The Institute for Steel Construction is pleased to have received funding from Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - German Research Foundation to carry on basic research on "Influence of precipitates on stress relaxation and fatigue behavior of prestressed Fe-based Shape Memory Alloys (Memory-Steel)". The project is in collaboration with Dr.-Ing. Malte Vollmer and Prof. Thomas Niendorf the Chair of "Metallic Materials" at University of Kassel.
